Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH selected as EPCM Contractor for large scale Polypropylene Plant in Siberia |

| Tobolsk-Polimer has selected Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH (LKCA) to design, supply equipment and manage the construction of a 500,000 tpa Polypropylene Plant in Tobolsk, Tyumen Region, West Siberia, based on the Innovene PP technology, licensed by Ineos.
Tobolsk-Polimer LLC is a 100 % subsidiary of SIBUR LLC and was founded in April 2006 to manage and operate SIBUR´s investment for a new-built propane dehydrogenation and polypropylene plant complex.
Linde-KCA, a subsidiary of The Linde Group, designs and builds chemical and petrochemical facilities world wide. Its main products are polyolefine plants, chemical, gas and biotechnology plants. The Linde Group is a leading gas and engineering company, employing over 50,000 people in more than 70 countries.
LKCA has already started contract execution and is expected to manage the construction process all the way through to commissioning and start-up. The Project for the complete execution of the PP-Plant has an estimated value of around 400 Mio. EUR. The project commences with a 6 month FEED phase, followed by detail engineering and procurement of equipment and materials.
Mechanical completion is expected in the course of the fourth quarter of 2010 and Plant start-up is scheduled for beginning of 2011.
For Linde-KCA this contract is one of the most important milestones in the field of polyolefine plants and underlines again Linde-KCA´s strong position regarding experience, know-how and excellent reputation among the international contractors. |
