BASF and Linde cooperate: Flue gas carbon dioxide capture
Dresden, dated 15 January 2010 − BASF and Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH (LKCA), a Linde Group subsidiary, will jointly market licenses and plants for the capture of carbon dioxide (CO2) from flue gases in the future. The companies today signed the cooperation agreement.

SIBUR choose EPC-contractor for a Polypropylene Production Complex
Tobolsk-Polymer LLC and Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH have concluded an Engineering Procurement and Construction Contract (EPC-contract) for a polypropylene production unit with the capacity of 500,000 tons of polypropylene per year. The total contract value amounts to approximately 450 million Euro.

High value order for an innovative Biotechnology Project in Leuna
As the result of the Europe wide tender related to the project Chemical Biotechnology Process Centre in Leuna, Saxony-Anhalt the engineering and contracting company Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH has been awarded the contract to act as general contractor for planning, supply and installation of all technical facilities. The contract between the Fraunhofer Society and Linde-KCA-Dresden with a total order value of approx. 40 Mio Euro was signed on Dec 10th 2009.

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and German-based The Linde Group announced today the first successful commercialisation of Linear Alpha Olefins (LAO), using α-SABLIN® technology developed jointly by SABIC and Linde.
