Award for Biotechnology Project of Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH
For the first time, a production facility planned by Linde has been honoured with the award 'Facility of the Year'. The facility means the new production centre for biotechnological production of API’s established for the client F.Hoffmann-La Roche AG at its Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.

Contract signing Vattenfall Europe Generation AG & Co. KG and Linde AG
On 09th September 2008 the ceremonial inauguration of the oxyfuel technology pilot plant for Vattenfall Europe took place in Schwarze Pumpe/Germany. The plant is the world’s first pilot installation of a CO2-reduced lignite coal power plant. Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH delivered the air separation plant and the CO2 purification and liquefaction plant for this project.

FEED-contract between Linde and Sibur for large scale PP plant in Siberia
On 24th July the contract for FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) of a Polypropylene Plant in Tobolsk was signed. Contract partners are Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH and Tobolsk Polymer LLC. The agreement already includes long lead equipment items. Other elements are contract proposals for detail-engineering and procurement.

On July 08, 2008 Linde-KCA was awarded by the Italian company DANIELI & C. with the order for Basic & Detail Engineering, Procurement and Delivery FOB (without erection) of a CO2 Removal Unit for an Iron Ore Direct Reduction Plant in Abu Dhabi / U.A.E..

Million Purchase Order for a new plant for starch production in Zeitz
A consortium consisting of Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH and KAEFER Construction GmbHhas been awarded a contract by the company FRP CS GmbH Elsteraue the purchase order for design, supply and construction of a new plant for production of modified starch for specific technical applications and Vital Gluten located at Chemiepark of Zeitz, Saxony-Anhalt.
